The terms that apply when you use our website or book care with us in Uganda.
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Teamwork Homecare Services Ltd ("Teamwork Homecare", "we", "us", or "our") and your booking or receipt of our care and related services in Uganda. By accessing this website, contacting us, submitting a booking or enquiry, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Teamwork Homecare Services Ltd is a homecare and medical staffing provider based in Kampala, Ntinda Martyrs Way, Uganda. We offer professional care delivered by licensed doctors, nurses and midwives. Our contact details are: phone and WhatsApp 0200 909453; email info@teamworkhomecare.com and teamworkhomecare@gmail.com.
Subject to availability and a confirmed care arrangement, our services may include homecare nursing, elderly care, physiotherapy, palliative care, post-delivery care, post-surgery care, oxygen supply, medical staffing and medical consultation. Services are primarily delivered in Kampala, Wakiso and surrounding areas of Uganda. The exact scope, duration, location, staffing and fees for any engagement are agreed with you (or an authorised representative) before care begins and may be set out in a separate care plan, quotation or service agreement.
Teamwork Homecare is not an emergency medical response, ambulance or hospital emergency department. If you or someone in your care faces a life-threatening or urgent medical emergency, contact the nearest hospital or appropriate emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this website, WhatsApp, email or routine booking channels for emergency response.
You must be at least 18 years of age to book services on your own behalf. If you book care for another person, you confirm that you are that person's parent, guardian, next of kin or other authorised representative, and that you have authority to share relevant information and enter into care arrangements on their behalf where required.
Requests submitted through our website, phone, WhatsApp or email are enquiries or booking requests, not automatic confirmations. A booking is confirmed only when our team has reviewed the care needs, confirmed staff availability, agreed key terms (including schedule and fees), and communicated confirmation to you. Same-day or urgent requests are handled on a best-effort basis subject to staffing and clinical suitability. We may decline a request where we cannot safely or lawfully meet the care needs.
We may conduct a consultation or needs assessment before assigning staff. Care plans are based on information you provide and our professional assessment. Plans may be reviewed and updated as the patient's condition or circumstances change. You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about the patient's condition, medications, allergies, mobility, home environment and any risks relevant to safe care.
Prices shown on our Pricing page are indicative starting packages for standard offerings (for example certain homecare or elderly care arrangements) and do not automatically apply to every case. Physiotherapy, oxygen supply, medical staffing, consultation and specialised or extended care are typically priced individually. Final fees are confirmed before service starts. Payment timing and method are agreed with our team at booking. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unpaid amounts may result in suspension or termination of scheduled services after reasonable notice.
You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us as early as possible by phone or WhatsApp on 0200 909453 or by email. Late cancellations, no-shows, or cancellations after a care professional has already been dispatched or arrived at the care location may attract a callout fee or partial service charge, which we will explain when applying it. We will also notify you as soon as reasonably possible if we must reschedule due to staff illness, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, and we will work with you to arrange a suitable alternative.
To support safe and effective care, you (and where applicable the household) agree to: provide a reasonably safe working environment for our staff; allow access at agreed times; treat our staff with respect; disclose material changes in the patient's condition promptly; and comply with reasonable clinical or safety instructions related to the care engagement. Abuse, harassment or unsafe conditions may result in immediate withdrawal of staff and termination of services.
Doctors, nurses and midwives placed through Teamwork Homecare are expected to be appropriately licensed and vetted before assignment. We aim to deliver care with professionalism, compassion and respect for patient dignity. Staff remain under our coordination for placement and scheduling unless a separate written arrangement states otherwise. Concerns about care quality or conduct should be reported to us promptly so we can investigate and respond.
Website content, FAQs and general communications are for information only and do not constitute personalised medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Clinical decisions are made by licensed professionals based on individual assessment. Always seek appropriate professional advice for specific medical concerns.
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Uganda, Teamwork Homecare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the website or from services, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Ugandan law. Our aggregate liability arising from a particular care engagement shall, where legally permitted, not exceed the fees paid to us for that engagement during the period giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemic or public health restrictions, civil unrest, utility failure, or government action. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and resume services when practicable.
You may use this website for lawful personal purposes related to learning about or requesting our services. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to transmit harmful or unlawful content. All text, branding, logos, images and other materials on this website are owned by Teamwork Homecare Services Ltd or used with permission and may not be copied, modified or commercially reused without our prior written consent.
Our collection and processing of personal and health-related data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that policy.
If you are dissatisfied with our website, booking process or care services, please contact us first at info@teamworkhomecare.com or 0200 909453 so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and fairly. Escalation to relevant professional or regulatory bodies remains available where applicable under Ugandan law.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date on this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where a separate written care agreement provides otherwise for an ongoing engagement.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from our services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Subject to any mandatory consumer or other protections under Ugandan law, the courts of Uganda shall have jurisdiction. Parties are encouraged to seek amicable resolution before formal proceedings.
